Spring is just around the corner. Time to dust off that bike and get it tuned up. Reviewing your motorcycle insurance policy is just as important as the tune up. Save some money on your motorcycle insurance policy with a few of our tips.

Check with your motorcycle insurance company to see if they offer discounts on your policy if you complete an additional driving safety course. Some companies offer an additional 10 or 15 percent discount for going to some classes and completing a course. If you have any tickets on your record or are under 25 years old, this may be a good way to offset the higher premium you are most likely already paying.

If you have more than one bike, consider a multi-motorcycle policy. If you have multiples, combining them on one policy can save you money. Some companies offer a motorcycle association discount or even a senior discount.

It’s obvious that the year, make and model of your bike can effect the amount you’ll be paying, but did you know that where you store your motorcycle can also increase or decrease your payment? A safer, more secure location will most likely lower your premium. Also, if you only drive your motorcycle occasionally, and do not log a ton of miles annually, you may also qualify for a low mileage discount.

Talk to a Vern Fonk motorcycle insurance agent today to see if you could qualify for these savings. If you think you already have a good policy, it’ll only take a few minutes to go over your existing policy to see if you can save even more!
